After years of procrastination, we’ve finally upgraded the site! We’re looking forward to working as this will be more user-friendly.
Our first version of the website was introduced in 2001. We originally started a company called Commercial First Lending, but it did not see to tie us to anything indicating specializing in petroleum financing. At the time we used gasstationlending.com instead of PetroMAC which was introduced the next year. Obviously just a basic website but more than anything that existed on the internet for petroleum retail financing.
The next upgrade was in 2003.
In 2004, we had a major upgrade by introducing a half dozen other languages on the site as a high percentage of our clients were New Americans.
In 2006, the site was redesigned again, with more content and resources.
In 2013, we had the last version of the site, with yet more content and resources. That version we had for nine years and it needed some serious upgrading.
We are hoping that the current version will be much more user-friendly. The current version is not nearly as wordy as the past few versions have been. And we’ve gotten a lot better at getting deals done too!
