My How Gas Stations Have Changed!

My earliest memories of gas stations was in the early 60s. My father worked at a steel foundry in Birmingham Alabama, but he seemed to be frequently at a few Gulf gas stations. I don’t know if he worked there part time or just hung out with some of his friends. Since I’ve been doing gas station loans since the late 1990s, I like to go back in time and see what the industry was like all those years ago. I can hardly imagine what it will be like in another twenty years.

My suspicion is, since less fuel will be sold, more of these convenience stores will be selling convenience items (or restaurants). I would like to see an old Neon throwback look if I had my preferences.
